Time Travel

Walking down the streets of Stockholm felt almost like taking a trip through time. The buildings were old and classical almost even romantic as I imagine Paris.

I stopped by Östermalmshallen which is a 19th century food market. Yum, there I treated myself to a viciously delicious cinnamon bun.

Everything looked picture perfect!

A Look At The Old China

For those of you who have yet to visit Beijing, China, I thought I would give you a little sneak peak.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Greetings from Copenhagen! As you can see there is not much of a view today. Fog is currently covering the city and any sign of life and activity outside of the hotel room. It's a surreal experience waking up and looking out of the window and not being able to see anything. Lost in limbo anyone?

Jetting Off to London

As I will be jetting off shortly to London, I have started packing. This can often be the most strenous activity to do before flying. Therefore, I like to keep things simple. Meaning that I always try to travel light.

Essentials are however necessary. I always pack a small bottle of lotion to help me survive the incredibly dry flights.

For some on-flight entertainment I will bring Margaret Atwood's novel The Handmaiden's Tale. Exciting.

As for wardrobe, I'm thinking grey. Some might say dull but I'm thinking sophisticated and understated.

New Year's & Beach Fun

Fun in the sun couldn't be more true than right now. After a long time coming, I am finally taking a well deserved vacation from the fabulous life, recuperating in the sun! Leaving the dreary, cold winter days of Beijing far behind I'm ready to never return until the weather has changed. Yikes, checking the weather, I'm suppossed to be in the misery of -10 to 0 Celcius right now, but have cheated fate by flying to Thailand. Today was somewhere around 33 Celcius, perfection! My pale face has finally begun to get some color.

The trees, leaves and bushes are all beautifully ripe in their fantastic bright green colors. I love palm trees! Having grown up surrounded by them it's hard to resist their inevitable charm, perhaps that's why Los Angeles is my favorite city in the US. Home to the palm trees! However, the air is fresh here, wonderful and warm.

I have even found an island to declare my own! Gorgeous and mysterious resting in its solitude.

The sunset is absolutely amazing here! Painted in its heavenliness, glaring with such intensity.

A Morning in Thailand

Sawadee Ka darlings! I have now arrived in Bangkok, Thailand. Left Beijing last night and am now ready for a day on the town. I seriously love the shopping centers here, so I'll try to take lots of photos :)

This is the view from my hotel with a perfect view of one of the best shopping centers in the near distance. Emporium! That's where I'm heading today.

Midsummer

Showing my true love for nature while feeding ducks. In the picture they look rather innocent but make no mistake, they were feisty!

Midsummer, the longest and brightest day of the year was celebrated on Friday, June 25. Instead of gathering around the maypole I decided to celebrate and join a private party instead. This picture was taken right before midnight but it really doesn't show right?
