Masquerade

Although prom lies a long time away, I have already begun searching for what accessories to wear. This year's theme will be Phantom of the Opera. I absolutely love that movie so I'm super excited to see how it will turn out! That means I'll be spending an extra long time deciding on what dress I should wear. Perhaps I shall sew something! Anyway, I found this perfect little accessory during my time in the shopping malls of Thailand. It can be worn as a broach or hairclip so I'll have to wait and see what works best.

J-Magazines

Hurray!!! On my latest trip to Thailand I managed to pick up some lovely Japanese magazines. The list included my all-time favorite magazine 'Classy' and some new ones that I decided to try out. I got 'Fudge', 'Numéro Tokyo', and 'Spur'. Yikes, but I've been sooo busy lately that I haven't yet had time to read them :( I can't wait until the weekend, super excited, want to read them now!

Hot and Dangerous

Hot and dangerous indeed! The clothes could be from none other than the fashion forward store Soda. Dibs on the red outfit!

Filled with plenty of unique and quirky pieces, the styling is certainly something to keep your eyes open for. Not many are daring enough to wear an entire outfit in one color, but it's certainly won me over! My favorite combo is stripes on stripes. However, I've yet to try it out in the critical eye of the public.

Although I already have several chandeliers scattered around the world, I found another one to add to my collection. Have to love the one sported in Kiehl's.

Kenzo :)

Gorgeous! Still at Paragon, inspired by the beautiful coffee table book that I got as present back in Beijing, I went into the Kenzo store. I was warmly greeted upon entry and browsed the store filled with amazing patterns and daring colors. Everyone in the store was super nice, I even recieved a press packet filled with information that share some details about the store.

My charming coffee table book.

It's the fashion melting-pot of 2010. The heritage of the Kenzo fashion house, the fashion that Kenzo taught us to love. Free from all rules, prints multiply and come together, mixing in complex patchworks. Florals, color blocking, mixtures of fabrics, the application of prints, spots and stripes, graphic features and motifs overlap to create recognisable and iconic silhouettes.

Without aggression or restriction, colors seep into each other over tones of grey, they manifest themselves in prints, jacquard wools, plaid and tartan as well as embroideries and embellishments.

Luxury Surrounds Me

With pictures and clothes speaking for themselves, we can all conclude that luxury surrounds me :) Loves it!!! Here you can see my dream dining room at Sirivannavari Maison.

Classy and elegantly sexy are the dresses at the Versace store. Love all of the dresses, the shoes, everything simply perfect. Would love to throw on one of those dresses and shine at a stylish cocktail party! Anyone looking for a plus one?

Store: Asaya

Soft and undoubtedly serene. So, so beautiful. Not only stylish but it also looks super comfortable.

Store: Code 10

Drowning in Luxury

Immediately upon walking through the large doors I was greeted by my favorite just out of reach lux stores. Salivating at the sight of the beautiful shop windows I managed to make my rounds through the stores. Chanel's windows were Christmas themed with delicate white paper trees everywhere within sight- perhaps something I should try myself for next Christmas :)

J'adore Dior! Ahhh what beauty, so, so, classy! Who couldn't help but feel like a true princess looking like that? Oh dear fairy god mother where are you? This look would have been totally perfect for Madame Audrey Hepburn in the film Breakfast at Tiffany's don't you all agree?

This adorable scene was at Hermès. I just can't resist those tiny cute tables! Where can I get myself one or two of those, hmmmm? On the topic of love have you noticed the wallpaper in the background? Très chic!!!!

Shoe Fetish

Shoe fetish anyone? Oh yes, I have one when it comes to my Christian Louboutins. But then again it's only natural when you have shoes as gorgeous as these. Shopping is never quite as good without these leopards in the bag ;)
Enjoy!

Chocolate & Flowers

So I don't know what you darlings like to do on a dark, almost rainy Saturday but I've decided to stay in today. Many think staying in can be very dull, but each time I'm home I try to celebrate, relax, and just enjoy myself. This means curling up under my fluffy Jim Thompson throw and catching up with the latest magazines such as the Japanese fashion magazine So-En which arrived fresh off the boat yesterday :) To keep me company I also have a new box of my favorite Godiva chocolates and some fantasy-like pink roses. What do you like to do when staying in?

Swedish Fashion

While at 798 Art District, I not only checked out the latest art installations, sculptures, and paintings but also got a sneak peek at the latest fashion display at White Box Museum of Art. It was Swedish Fashion that had finally reached Beijing, the last stop of their travelling showcase. I was given an exclusive look inside before the exhibition opened. Here you too can get a sneek peek and enjoy some of the clothes that will soon be on display.

Vogue China 5th Anniversary Exhibition

Hello fashionista darlings! I'm finally back from my blog hiatus, and what better to begin with than a trip to the Vogue 5th Anniversary Exhibition? Currently writing from my home sweet home of the moment Beijing, China. For those of you who didn't know until now Vogue China is celebrating its fifth anniversary by putting on a big exhibition at the new Village. The exhibition features some of the best photos featured in Vogue China along the years as well as some big names from the Chinese fashion designer's section.

Designers were asked to design one dress specifically for the event in order to commemorate Chinese heritage. Designers showcasing included fashion designers Jason Wu, Phillip Lim, Vera Wang, Vivienne Tam and sooo many more. My favorite two desingns are the two below. What do you think? They're a bit less traditional in both their color choice and design. Dark and mysterious, my favorite!

Central Saint Martins

During my time in London, my days were not spent walking the urban streetmarkets or checking out the sights but instead they were spent in a small bright classroom on the top floor of Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. Having participated in two of their summer courses for 16 to 18 year olds last summer, I wanted to relive the experience again. Last summer I attended Fashion Styling and Making Fashion. I absolutely loved the experience, therefore signing up to the two week course Fashion Sketchbook. As Central Saint Martins currently has several small buildings located around London, I wanted to try out a different location from my previous year and this time at Back Hill. And boy am I glad, as it proved to be truly fantastic! The two weeks were spent working off a theme, learning important information about fashion illustration, as well as the industry itself, all while building our sketchbooks with our own fashion illustrations.

V & A

Ah the V & A (Victoria & Albert) Museum is without a doubt my favorite when it comes to London Museums.

An Afternoon at Bond Street

For those of you who have yet to experience the wonders of Bond Street London and might not even know what it is, I thought I'd give you all a glimpse of my favorite London Street- Bond Street. It is one of the most fashionable shopping streets in all of London with some of the biggest names and brands having stores on it. Stocking high end brands like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Cartier, Chopard, Bally, Mulberry, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and so so many more.

Gucci

Bond Street also happens to have my favorite chocolate boutique there, Charbonnel et Walker. The truffles are absolutely divine and they come in gorgeous boxes which I like to create displays with in my room. From personal experience I can truly say that the Pink Marc De Champagne Truffles, and the Dusted Strawberry Truffles are spectacularly scrumptious!

The displays you can create if you are a chocolate lover with something as simple as a chocolate box can add a lot of personality to your room, desk, or even bathroom. I have them displayed in all of those places and think it looks really cute and unexpected yet blends right in. What do you think? Something you might want to try?

Nordiska

I stopped by to see the 'Power of Fashion - 300 years of clothing' exhibition. I loved the section on the historical garments, there was even a video showing the exhausting process of putting on one of those drop dead gorgeous Victorian gowns. The show featured clothes from different eras and from all over the world with a smaller section on the more contemporary clothes as shown above.

What an amazing building the Nordiska museum is, it is truely a gigantic space, way too big to fit on my camera!

While wandering around the museum, getting lost in the large building, I stumbled upon this fantastic mini exhibition on traditions and customs. As you can see above, my dining room was featured with my hard working servants Henri and Louis :) Oh I wish!

The balcony of the museum had a terrific view! Here is Strandvägen where I stopped by after to check out the design store Svenskt Tenn. Honestly I LOVE Strandvägen, I mean imagine what a great view I would have, looking right out at the water and Nordiska! I like :)

In The Bags

Light and summery, this purple dress stole my heart with the soft natural fabric and the flowers on the top.

At 'Inside & Living' I found the prettiest box of French Rose Green Tea. Being a tea lover it was a must have. I had a cup this morning and felt super refreshed tasting the mixture of rose and green tea. Yum.

All these fabulous purple clothes are from the hot brand Dranella with the exception of the top which is from Soyaconcept, puchased at the lifestyle store 'Inside & Living'.

Feeling completely inspired by the new Sex and The City movie (2), a trip to Indiska felt appropriate. Recognizing the ethnic clothes worn in the middle eastern scenes set in Abu Dhabi I fell for this decorated top/ tunic and the dress below.

Shopping Time

After working at the opera, I felt it was time to reward myself with a bit of retail shopping. One of my favorite past time activities in case you didn't know. Stores 'Inside & Living', 'Indiska', 'Twilfit', 'Noa Noa', and Lilla Magasinet where just a few of my stops. For all those wondering, I'm wearing the fabulous new sandals that I purchased at Siam Paragon in Bangkok.

Copenhagen

Fresh off my flight from Tokyo, I'm at the Malene Birger boutique at the airport. The Danish designer is highly regarded for her designs and has adopted the nickname "Queen of Fashion" in Copenhagen.

Quick Stop at Tokyo Narita Airport

Working it at Tokyo Narita Airport. Fully packed and ready to see the world or at least Stockholm and London. Forget about comfort, style is priority number one as you never know who you'll end up meeting.

Tokyo has some of the world's best shops and stores. Along with that they have Tsutaya. Tsutaya is my personal favorite, they stock more magazines than you could possibly imagine or read. These are just a few of my must haves: Classy, JJ, Vogue Nippon, Glamorous, etc .
